A comforting classic that still supports muscle retention when calories are managed well.

Ingredients

  • 500g lean lamb mince
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 700g potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 100g peas

Method

  1. 1Brown the lamb mince with the onion and carrots, then add the chopped tomatoes and peas and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. 2Boil the potatoes until tender and mash until smooth.
  3. 3Top the lamb mixture with mash and bake at 200C for 20 minutes until golden.
