This is ideal for batch cooking — one proper dinner now and more sorted meals later.

Ingredients

  • 500g 5% beef mince
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • 700g potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 100g peas

Method

  1. 1Cook the mince with the onion and carrots until browned, then stir in the tomato purée and peas.
  2. 2Boil the potatoes until tender and mash them.
  3. 3Transfer the beef mixture to a dish, top with mash and bake until golden.
