1. What We Collect
Account details (name, email, and phone number where provided), profile data you choose to publish, messages and inquiries sent through the platform, and basic usage analytics.
2. How We Use It
To run the platform: power your profile, deliver messages between trainers and gyms, and improve the product.
3. Marketing Communications
By creating an account with FORGE, you agree that we may use the contact details you provide (email, and where given, phone number) to send you information and marketing communications strictly relating to FORGE — including product updates, new features, opportunities on the platform, educational content, and occasional offers from FORGE itself.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third partyfor their own marketing purposes. Marketing emails from us are about FORGE and nothing but FORGE.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing privacy@forgefitnessnetwork.com. Essential service emails (account, security, inquiries you receive) will continue regardless, as they are necessary to provide the service.
Legal basis under UK GDPR: legitimate interests for marketing our own similar services to existing users (the "soft opt-in"), and consent where required. You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time.
4. Sharing
Published profile information is visible to anyone visiting the site. Inquiries and messages are only visible to the parties involved. We use trusted processors (hosting, database, email delivery) under contract to operate the service — they do not use your data for their own purposes.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is protected by row-level security so no other trainer or gym can read your private data.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict processing of, or erase your personal data, and to object to direct marketing at any time. You can manage most of this from your account, or email us to request a full export or erasure. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and minimal analytics to understand product usage. No third-party ad tracking.
